Privacy & data

Here is exactly what Memorie stores. Here is exactly what we don't.

Who we share your data with

Memorie runs on a small number of service providers, and each only ever sees what it needs to do its job: Anthropic and OpenAI process your memory text and photos to extract meaning from them and power search; AWS stores your photos, documents, and exports; Supabase hosts your account and database; Stripe processes payments if you subscribe; Resend delivers the emails we send you. If you connect a Google or Microsoft account for Calendar or Tasks, that data is used only to power reminders and context inside Memorie — never for anything else. We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.

How your data is protected

Everything sent to and from Memorie travels over encrypted HTTPS. Your account and memories are stored in an encrypted database. If you connect a Google or Microsoft account, its access tokens are additionally encrypted at rest with their own dedicated key, separate from the database itself — even someone with direct database access could not read them.

Deleting specific memories, photos, or documents

In the mobile app, open Browse, then press and hold any memory to delete it. It is removed immediately, including its photo or document file if it had one. You do not need to delete your whole account to remove individual memories.

If you uninstall the app

Your memories are kept for 90 days in case you come back. You get an email on day 1 and again on day 80 before anything is removed.

If you delete your account

Everything is permanently deleted within 30 days. There is no recovery after that window closes.

Google Calendar and Tasks access

If you connect a Google account, Memorie reads your calendar events and tasks only to detect birthdays, anniversaries, and upcoming events for reminders — never for advertising, and never shared with anyone else. That data is cached only as long as the connection stays active. Disconnecting a Google account (in Settings) revokes Memorie's access at Google immediately and permanently deletes its stored tokens and cached events or tasks right away, not on the 30-day account-deletion schedule above.

Google API Limited Use compliance

Memorie uses Anthropic's Claude to generate your morning briefing and meeting prep from the calendar events and tasks it reads via the Google Calendar and Tasks APIs. That data is used solely to generate your own personalized briefing inside Memorie — it is never used to create, train, or improve any AI/ML model, foundational or otherwise, and it is never transferred or sold to any third party. Memorie's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you downgrade your plan

Every memory you have saved stays exactly as it is. A lower plan only reduces how much new capacity you have going forward — nothing already saved is ever removed.

Photos

Only a thumbnail is kept — the original photo never leaves your device. That thumbnail is kept for as long as the memory it created exists (so it can be shown to you in the app), and is deleted immediately if you delete that memory — the same rule as any other memory's file.

Your personal Memorie email address

Settings gives you a personal address you can forward emails to, to save them as memories. Cloudflare (already listed above) parses the email in memory to pull out the sender, subject, and body text, and never stores the original email itself. The extracted text becomes a memory in your account, kept exactly like anything you type or say — the same retention rules as everywhere else on this page. Any attachment is saved through the same photo or document pipeline a direct upload uses, with the same rules for what's kept and for how long.

Exporting your data

A full export of everything you have saved is available on every plan, at any time, instantly — no waiting, no support ticket.
